All four models -- Bullhead, Silver Tip, Smooth Hound and Hammerhead -- use Dahon's patented LockJaw folding hinges, 20-inch wheels and its ribbed Axis adjustable stem, and fold down to 13.7" x 31.1" x 34.6" in 20 seconds.
The US$1,599 Hammerhead uses a SRAM X-9 drivetrain with SRAM DoubleTap flat-bar shifters and Kore's T-Beam saddle and seatpost. The Hammerhead weighs 20lbs.
The US$1099 Smooth Hound takes a chapter out of the Rivendell page with a Brooks leather saddle and Nitto moustache handlebars. An 18-speed like the Hammerhead, the Smooth Hound comes with fenders and a high-capacity BioLogic pump integrated into the seatpost. The Smooth Hound weighs 24lbs.
The US$999 Silvertip relies on flat bars, BioLogic pump, Axis adjustable stem, and 18 speeds. The Silvertip weighs 23.8lbs.
The US$899 Bullhead uses a 7-speed Shimano Nexus internal rear hub, fenders, BioLogic pump, Axis adjustable stem, and ergonomic grips. The Bullhead weighs 27.9lbs.
