To take part, go to the official Bikefest website and download an entry form. Registration will be open from Friday afternoon and all day Saturday and Sunday. Make sure you pre-book your camping at least three days before you arrive on site.
The Bikefest will include a 10-hour endurance race on Saturday, followed by the five-hour event on the Sunday. For riders who are new to endurance racing, a three-hour event will also run on Sunday.
Both days can be ridden as solo events or as teams of two or four. On Saturday the last couple of hours will be ridden in the dark, so make sure you bring sufficient lighting and that your lights are fully charged.
The NiteRider Night Time Trail will take place on Friday night and is free of charge for riders who have entered either the Saturday or the Sunday race. Approximate start time for the first rider is around 7pm. If you want to do just the night time trail the entry fee is £5. Riders are asked to register as soon as they arrive on Friday afternoon. To enter, tick the appropriate box on the entry form or send an email with your name and team name to email@example.com. You can also enter when you arrive on Friday at the event village if there are places left.
There is a kids’ race on Saturday, starting at 1pm. Age classes are up to five years, five to 10 years and 10 years and over. You can enter your child on the day before 12:30pm by coming to the race unit and registering on the line, free of charge.
