Pro bike: Ivan Basso's Cannondale Slice Hi-Mod Giro d'Italia

Basso's bike is still equipped with an SRM PowerControl VI computer head but there is no power meter to go with it here.

  • Cannondale have supplied Ivan Basso (Liquigas) with a special lighter-weight version of their Slice time trial frameset.
  • A special lay-up schedule has supposedly shed 150g from the frame, fork and seatpost.
  • Basso's time trial bike is now BB30-equipped for lighter weight - almost 1.6kg in total! - though he has now lost his SRM power meter.
