Sauser to use elliptical rings for 2009?

  • Current UCI cross-country world champion Christoph Sauser has been spotted testing some new gear recently.
  • His usual round chainring have apparently been traded (at least temporarily) for a pair of elliptical Rotor Q-Rings.
  • As before, a Shimano Dura-Ace braze-on front derailleur takes care of gear changing up front.
  • Sauser has apparently also been testing Look's new Quartz pedals as a possible replacement for his usual Crankbrother Eggbeater 4Ti.
