Sea Otter Classic: Round-up gallery 2

Manitou forks, Exposure lights, Crank Brothers, Bell and more

There was something for every bike fan at this year's Sea Otter Classic in Monterey, California, including professional and amateur dirt and road racing, new product demos and a huge consumer expo with 300 exhibitors.

We've already brought you all the news from this year's show, all of which you can access from our Sea Otter page.

Now we're wrapping up our tech coverage with a couple of image galleries covering just about everything we haven’t already shown you.

In this second roundup (click here for the first) we have Manitou’s updated R7 fork; suspension from X-Fusion; new lights from Exposure; riding packs from Ergon and Vaude; a new 4in drop seatpost from Crank Brothers; Bell’s new downhill helmet offerings; tyres from Geax; a range of nutrition bars and much more.

So sit back, relax and kick your feet up because you could be here a while. For the pictures and information, click on the thumbnails on the right.

Technical Editor, US
James started as a roadie in 1990 with his high school team but switched to dirt in 1994 and has enjoyed both ever since. Anything that comes through his hands is bound to be taken apart, and those hands still sometimes smell like fork oil even though he retired from shop life in 2007. He prefers manual over automatic, fizzy over still, and the right way over the easy way.
  • Discipline: Mountain, road, cyclocross
  • Preferred Terrain: Up in the Colorado high-country where the singletrack is still single, the dirt is still brown, and the aspens are in full bloom. Also, those perfect stretches of pavement where the road snakes across the mountainside like an artist's paintbrush.
  • Beer of Choice: Mexican Coke
  • Location: Boulder, Colorado, USA
