The bikes of Cannondale Pro Cycling

New team is equipped by SRAM, FSA, Vision, Fi’zi:k and more

Cannondale strengthened its commitment to professional cycling this weekend with the presentation of the 2013 Cannondale Pro Cycling team. Cannondale has had a presence in the pro peloton since Saeco-Cannondale in the '90s. Now, Cannondale has stepped up to become the title sponsor of Liquigas team it has worked with since 2007.

The new team has a roster full of talented riders, including 2010 Giro d’Italia winner Ivan Basso, 22-year-old sprinting phenom Peter Sagan, and American domestique Ted King.

These riders will be equipped by many of the same sponsors as the 2012 Liquigas-Cannondale team, including SRAM, Fi’zi:k, Sugoi and Sidi. One notable exception is Mavic, which has been replaced by FSA’s aero brand, Vision, which will be supplying wheels and TT bars.

SuperSix EVO Hi-Mod

The Cannnodale Pro Cycling team’s workhorse is a team-specific version of Cannondale’s SuperSix EVO Hi-Mod. We reviewed the SuperSix EVO last year and came away impressed. It does a commendable job of balancing performance with comfort—something team members are sure to appreciate during some of the season’s most demanding stage races.
