Video: Dave Weagle introduces the BH Lynx 4

The lowdown on new Split Pivot machine

We were granted an exclusive invitation to the launch of BH's new Lynx 4 trail bike in the French Alps last week, and we were very impressed by both the look and the ride of the bike.

American suspension guru Dave Weagle played a major part in its development. We managed to grab a few minutes with him on the slopes of Peisey-Vallandry – where he was on hand to tweak shock settings and gather rider feedback – to get the lowdown on the Lynx and its Split Pivot design.

Check out the video below – and open our image gallery for lots more pictures, including some shots of the clay – yes, clay – model used to develop the bike.

CW has been riding mountain bikes for more than two decades now. He's the first to admit he's not the fittest or most skilful rider on the hill, but that doesn't stop him sweating up the climbs to have a blast on the downhills.
