One event earmarked to be a sell-out next year is the Wiggle Super Series No Excuses Sportive. Martin Barden, organiser of the Wiggle Super Series and owner of UK Cycling advises riders to book quickly: “The fastest seller of 2012 was the unique free to ride Wiggle Super Series No Excuses Sportive and we’d strongly recommend that cyclists book their places early to avoid disappointment.”

There will be 1400 places allocated to this free-to-ride sportive, which will be held on 16 March 2013. Riders pay £28 to secure their place and then get their entry refunded if they turn up to ride. If a rider doesn’t turn up their entry fee gets donated to charity.
