Fuji traces its roots back to turn of the century Japan, where it was founded by company namesake Nichibei Fuji. Since its founding in 1899, Fuji has gone through several changes in ownership. It is currently owned and distributed by the U.S.-based Advanced Sports International.
While Fuji is best known for its road bikes, it also has mountain, hybrid and childrens bikes in its line. Fuji also has a long history of building winning track and Keirin race bikes. The company is revisiting this tradition in the all-new, full carbon track bike, the Track Elite.
