Each year at the Spring Classics, a motley crew of bikes take on the ancient, savage stone roads of the Rour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix. Thankfully most of us don't have to contend with these surfaces, let alone race on them – though the solutions turned to by the pro teams would certainly work well on the cruddy surfaces many of us have to content with in our everyday riding.
