Revolution Bike Stand (09) | $18.22
BikeRadar verdict
"Simple, solid bike stand to keep your home tidy"
Edinburgh Bicycle Co-operative's bike stand is about as simple as it can get – but it’s none the worse for that.
If you’ve ever ended up leaning bikes against your walls at home you’ll be familiar with the grubby smudges that can all-too-easily result. That’s what this minimalist piece of kit is designed to prevent.
Just place your bike’s front or rear wheel into the slot, lean it against the stand and your bike will stay in place. There’s no more to it than that.
It’s a heavyweight slab of metal, but four rubber pads ensure that wooden or stone floors won’t get marked and the two vertical struts are rubber coated to stop your bike getting scratched.

Are there any restrictions to the max width of tyre that will work on this stand? The slot doesn't look very wide but that could just be the angle of the picture.

The full manufacturer's description describes better how this works: "simply lift up the back wheel and insert the left hand chainstay between the Revolution Storage Bike Stand's black vinyl coated prongs." ... "Designed for any type of bicycle: works best with lightweights." Quoted from:

i have three of these, and they're great - indoors, or for cleaning outdoors. I'm not sure they are galvanised and suitable for continuous outdoor use though.

I can't get mine to work at all. It'll * just about * keep a lightweight racer upright - though not straight, which is really irritating - but it won't keep my (heavier) cyclocross bike upright at all.
What am I missing?

Same as 'beancounter' .. I expected it to be heavier .. sort of works, but you wouldn't want to bump the bike as it would fall over - it would work if it was screwed into the floor ...

Slight update .. have experimented and fitting between the wheel and the frame stays with the bike leaning to one side a little - this will keep the bike upright.
