We like the fact that the strap is hinged and can articulate nearly 90 degrees on either side of the frame – it means they’ll comfortably fit a wider variety of faces and helmets better. Many will like the fuss-free, no frills styling and the single, tear-off ready clear lens. The field of vision is good with no visible distortion or fogging issues.

We’d like to see some silicone on the strap to help keep it in place. Unusually, the Sockets are not supplied with a goggle bag which makes storing them and cleaning them tricky. A few more colour options wouldn’t go amiss either.
