Good fit, lenses and extras

Salice impressed us last year with their 006s, which were styled similarly to Oakley’s Radars, but the 005’s twin-lens design is closer to Oakley’s Fast Jacket.

The broad arms feature large sticky grippers and plenty of sprung tension to clamp your head, the adjustable nose bridge further enhancing the excellent fit and grip.

The lens design is also impressive. The outside edge is open between the frame and at the top of each lens, and there are three vents along the brow. This manages to both keep the 005s clear of fogging while not letting eye-watering wind through on high-speed descents.

With a hard case, cloth and a set of clear lenses for duller days, there is little to fault these great value specs.
