Fuji Finepix Z33WP (09) | $275.22
BikeRadar verdict
"Pocket-friendly size and simplicity make this a great companion on any ride, but lack of shock-protection may send some towards its slightly tougher rivals"
Not much wider than a credit card and only 20.6mm deep, the 10 megapixel FinePix Z33WP certainly fits the bill on the portability front and Fuji have managed to cram a bunch of their latest features into its diminutive case.
With its Picture Stabilisation mode, 3x optical zoom lens, 14 pre-programmed scene modes and clever Scene Recognition feature, the Z33WP gives very respectable images for a point-and-click camera.
Round the back it sports a good sized 2.7-inch LCD screen along with a simple and intuitive rubber-coated 10-button interface that we found easy to operate even when wearing gloves.
However, the LCD display lacked the clarity we have seen in similar cameras such as Canon's D10 and even after putting the brightness all the way up, we still found ourselves cupping the screen to see what we had just shot in bright conditions.
Boasting a rating of IP68* the Z33WP should withstand the dustiest of trails and the wettest of days. Although protected from dust and moisture, it lacks shock-protection, which we always like to see on any bit of kit such as this.
