The flashing mode extends the battery life to over 200 hours and three AAA batteries are included. Sealing seems good, although the switch isn't the easiest thing to find. The vertical design doesn't take up much space and the shimmed clip design is secure enough to stop slipping. The price is reasonable for the power too.
