"Heavy and short run time, but still a very powerful, adaptable light set"

This proven system is heavy but powerful and totally updatable for a long and happy life.

Halogen bulbs may seem antiquated, but this over-volted 12-watt spot/20-watt flood set actually has the most spread and reach of the lights we tested it against. The distinctive yellowy light is also less glaring in damp conditions.

Unusually, the batteries don’t fade till right at the end of their run, but using both lamps drops run time below an hour and a half. The system is quite weighty and bulky, the toggle switches are easy to knock off accidentally and there’s no runtime feedback.

But superb UK manufacturer direct customer service and event support adds value.
