With just a one-watt LED powered by four AAA batteries, this light surprised us by working for more than 20 hours on the supplied batteries, and giving just a few minutes more on our test batteries.
The beam is a nice little spot, with ample flood around it for good peripheral vision too. The nicest feature though is the clear section at the rear of the light head that allows light to spill out sideways and rearwards. Much like the RSP this throws light onto the rider; couple that with a high-visibility vest or sash and you’ll stand out a treat at night.
It would be a challenger to the RSP light but for the lower quality bracket and the RSP’s better side on visibility.
