"Low on power with an awkward switch, but very reliable and long running"

This micro light packs a useful beam and run time for those who know where they’re going. The focused single LED gives workable illumination of anything in the tight beam pattern, but peripheral lighting is very dim.

The Stella 150's targeted performance, low weight and supplied mount and cable make it an obvious choice for helmet use.

The switch is stiff and hard to use on the bars – let alone on your head – but its run time is long enough to keep it on full chat for most rides, and the Stella 200 has more power and longer run times for just £25 more.

Light & Motion have a superb reliability reputation though, so think of the high price-to-output ratio as more of a long-term investment.
