Exposure Race MaXx | $407.73
BikeRadar verdict
"A high quality light aimed squarely at the serious 24-hour racer"
Exposure has three lights - one, two and three LED. The Race MaXx sits in the middle and has been designed with less weight, specifically to suit 24-hour racers.
There was a time when we wouldn't have deemed two LEDs powerful enough to cope with race pace over technical and often unfamiliar terrain, but advances in LED technology have produced a beam that's sufficiently powerful, with an even tone and excellent breadth, that your vision towards the margins of the trail isn't compromised.
Exposure has also changed the mounting system - now once the bracket is in place it's an easy one-handed operation to click in or remove the light. Plus the integral battery means there are no connections to come loose or cables to lose/leave at home.
