Halfords Super Bright 5 LED set review

The front light is powered by two AA batteries, is well sealed and has flashing and constant modes of operation. It offers great visibility but isn't bright enough to ride with unless you go slow.

Our review
For being seen, this is an out-of-the-box performer at a great price.

The front light is powered by two AA batteries, is well sealed and has flashing and constant modes of operation.

It offers great visibility but isn't bright enough to ride with unless you go slow. The band- style mounting is simple to use and works well on standard or OS bars. The rear light is a seven-LED unit with exceptional sealing, and a mounting capable of going from 32mm down to 24mm seatpost sizes. It requires just a cross-head screwdriver to fit, and features constant, flashing and sequential modes. In flashing mode the lights are RVLR legal. This is a simple and functional set that offers good visibility and well made products with simple-to-fit qualities. Even better, with the current 1/3-off light set prices at all Halfords branches, this is fantastic value for money.
