Our review
A rough, tough pack with lots of cubby holes, but not one for the weight conscious

Named after the mammoth 2745-mile US trail, Lezyne’s Great Divide is the brawny relation to many lighter offerings available, but the extra ‘dry’ weight buys you some protection against extra wear and tear. The pack also has a plethora of internal pouches and pockets each with a specific function if you follow Lezyne’s guidance.

Externally there is a large Lycra pocket that’s big enough to take a trail helmet and or pads, a fleecy ‘media’ pocket and a handy vented pocket to hold yesterday’s socks if you are overnighting. The 3-litre bladder is fully reversible for cleaning and the non-drip bite valve is adjustable and easy to use.

We would prefer a clean rather than smoked bag and hose just for inspection purposes. Do we pick up the Great Divide every time we ride? No, but we would certainly consider it if we were going to be away for more than a day.
