Topeak QR Beam Rack RX
BikeRadar verdict
"The best beam rack for road bikes"
Beam racks are an easy to fit option for bikes that don’t have carrier eyelets, transforming your sleek racing machine into a lightweight B&B tourer for the weekend.
The RX is one in a range of models to suit different frame sizes and intentions. Typical to Topeak, there’s great attention to detail, including integrated adjustable bungees, optional side arms and a mini-mudguard accessory, which actually works surprisingly well.
The rack itself clamps securely on the seatpost – shims are provided to suit post diameters from 28.6-31.8mm.
The platform is small and best suited to Topeak’s own range of luggage, which slots in securely on runners.
One tip: we’d recommend swapping out your carbon seatpost for a more robust alloy one.

User review of Topeak QR Beam Rack RX
Looks brilliant, just what I need - I've had one on order for over a month now at my LBS. I was shown the order slip showing that Top Peak had supplied him with the MX version instead, and we decided that was just not right for a skinny racer.
I don't believe they actually exist in a real physical sense, I'd love to rate it but will wait till I can actually see one.

i would say they are good for hybrids too if you have fitted mudguards because they will take up frame eyelets. with this rack you can then have best of both worlds -do they have quick click system on them though?
