Tomac Snyper

Tomac's all-mountain model offers 140mm travel, which can be matched to a 140mm fork.

The Fox RP23 rear shock can be inline up to 140mm travel and piggybacked beyond that. Frame weight is 6.8 pounds for a medium size, including the rear shock.

Design features include: a 6061 T6 aluminium front triangle and rear end with forged aluminium links, three sets of frame bearings for easy servicing, a carbon fibre flex stay to increase rear-end stiffness, and the dual bolt custom rear derailleur hanger with stiffening bar, which contributes to the handling objective set forth by Smith and Earle.

Tomac Carbide

The Carbide offers 100mm front/90mm rear of cross country suspension travel, with a large frame and rear suspension weighing approximately 5.4lb.

Stated goals for the Carbide are light and stiff, with geometry to accommodate 80 or 100mm travel front forks for XC racing or marathon. The laundry list of features reflects the scrutiny Smith and the rest of his company put into their design effort:
- Aluminium box section chainstays (versus carbon) to avoid chain slap damage and increase stiffness
- Self-aligning pinch bolt for main pivot
- High-strength shock mount pins instead of bolts
- Short link to enhance stiffness
- Rear triangle-mounted front derailleur allows more compact front triangle
- Internal headset for low stack height
