Fine fit and wicking but not comfortable

The spring-weight Mavic Sprint bib knickers lost only 13g while being hung up to dry, but they’d only gained 66g during their hour of being ridden, putting them well above average for wicking.

They fit well too thanks to a multi-panel construction that hugs your legs and body so they feel supportive rather than tight. However, they aren’t the most comfortable – the pad is fine but the bib front is low and the legs barely extend beyond the knees and don’t stay put.

As soon as you pedal they ride up and quickly become, at best, a source of annoyance, and at worst an irritation.
