We're not convinced that their five panel construction makes the Northwave kneewarmers any more comfortable than normal, but we do like the fact that they're well made from deep super roubaix fabric with flat, irritation-free seams.
The basic grippers are effective enough, but we'd prefer some reflectives to help get us noticed at night. The arm warmers do come with logos that glow bright in a headlight beam and, like the knees, they do a great job of keeping you warm when the weather gets parky. Sizing is a little smaller than normal.
