"Breathable and showerproof, but huge"

The Velo is constructed from Pertex Microlight fabric, a super-thin showerproof material that's very breathable too - aided by four extra vents on the back. Complete with its own mesh bag, it packs down to the size of a tennis ball. It's pretty much the same colour as one too, standing out superbly on a dull day like a beacon.

Continuing the high-viz theme, reflective piping runs the full length of the zip, as well as the ripstop panels on the back. In fact, the only downside is the enormous cut. The medium I tried is more like a roomy large, and fits fine over a fleece but balloons up over a normal jersey.
