Feature-packed? Check. Practical? Yes. Stylish? For sure. Expensive? Of course – this is Rapha after all!

Rapha's gilet comes with the de rigueur long-cut back. It’s also windproof, warmer than many other gilets and, thanks to a layer of Hytrel, it’s pretty breathable too.

The full-length zip is offset so you can easily get to layers underneath, although it’s worth noting that Rapha’s medium comes up smaller than most)

Neat touches include loads of pockets, zipped, reflective piping, pink cable loops for iPod cable routing and – in one of the pockets – a narrative about Andre Tchmil in the ’94 Paris-Roubaix!
