These Shield gloves are waterproof and windproof, staying dry on the inside even in very heavy rain, yet they're still quite breathable.
The knuckle side is quite plain, though the reflective Altura logo should be visible to oncoming cars. The palm side is fully featured, with an ergo palm pad protecting the most important pressure points, covered by an anti-slip material. This extends to the rest of the palm and inside of the thumb, the other side of which has a softer 'sweat wipe' material. We particularly like the wrist closure system, incorporating a neat Velcro tab and elasticated section which stops the water running down inside the glove. >
