Ultra-grippy full-fingered gloves

We've been using these gloves for the past few months and are getting to really like them. And as the days get cooler and mitts give way to gloves, these are likely to get even more use.

The fingertips have a stippled, silicone-finish like a table-tennis bat’s, which proved extremely grippy with all types of levers.

The breathable Clarino artificial leather palms have sufficient, well placed padding for road use, and overall these make an ideal pair of autumn/early winter gloves. A fingerless version is available at £16.99.

Simon has been cycling for as long as he can remember, and more seriously since his time at university in the Dark Ages (the 1980s). This has taken in time trialling, duathlon and triathlon and he has toured extensively in Asia and Australasia, including riding solo 2900km from Cairns to Melbourne. He now mainly rides as a long-distance commuter and leisure/fitness rider. He has been testing bikes and working for Cycling Plus in various capacities for nearly 20 years.
