"A top performer and one of the best fitting jackets that we've ever tested"

The Reflex from Altura has plenty going for it, but one of the best is the fit. Whoever was responsible for cutting the pattern for this jacket did a mighty fine job. 

On the performance front it managed to be one of the most waterproof jackets in the test, and yet also managed to be as breathable as the best. The material itself looks and feels very similar to eVent fabric but is lighter and slightly thinner.

The sleeves are nice and long and yet don't bunch up at the elbows, and the tapered cuffs with reflective Velcro adjuster straps are great. There is a single small breast pocket that is amazingly waterproof, and a single larger rear pocket. 

There's reflective detailing in all the right places, and it's also nice and wide for great visibility.

    Loving this jacket. I'm glad I decided to go for Altura over Gore for a change. The fit really is great. The reflective areas are very bright too. I wore it as a windstopper the other night, worked really well

    Definitely wind proof and waterproof, proved after 2 hours in heavy rain and another 5 hours in spray! Very comfortable and a snug fit once I'd pulled the cord in around the waist. The chest and arm pockets are pretty small, I think if you put your mobile in there you'd notice the bulk / weight. But there is a single large pocket across the back which is great and very handy. Nice long sleeves too so it can overlap your gloves (or or inside if you prefer).

    Got mine in fluorescent so that's definitely an option. Washes great too. Not the cheapest available but a very good product.
