Lusso HT60 review

Lusso's HT50 has now been replaced by the high performance HT60. The new material is softer and a claimed 30 per cent more breathable. It's still crumply when new, but the full mesh liner adds comfort and improves wicking.

Solid well priced performer but this is a bulky and heavy jacket

Lusso's HT50 has now been replaced by the high performance HT60. The new material is softer and a claimed 30 per cent more breathable. It's still crumply when new, but the full mesh liner adds comfort and improves wicking. The jacket's better suited to steady cruises than steamy sprints as the pit zips are small. We haven't felt a drop of rain, even in storm conditions, and the tall fleece collar, dropped tail (both with one hand drawcords) and long velcro-cuffed arms offer good protection. You get a chest MP3 pocket, big back pocket, reflective detail and a hang tab for an LED light. Fabric durability is OK but bulk and weight (650g) are high.
