Endura Venturi eVent | $277.48
BikeRadar verdict
"Quality all-round jacket regardless of your riding style if a little expensive"
Endura’s Venturi has always done well as a good all-rounder in our previous tests, ticking all the boxes when it comes to a good mid-weight, mid-price breathable waterproof. Add subtle good looks with a riding position cut and you’re on to a winner.
The eVent material it’s constructed from is superbly breathable and is up there with more expensive jackets at the top end. We always like to see an iPod pocket and ear phone port for listening to tunes and all the pockets use waterproof zips so nowt gets wet.
The front zip is quite large, which makes it easier to do up with gloved or cold hands. Endura have added a velcro seal double zip flap to prevent wet and cold coming through.
On the downside, manufacturers such as Pace and Gill have started using the same eVENT material but at a lower price.
While those jackets might not have as many features as the Venturi, the Endura’s higher price will put some buyers off.
