Sombrio Womens Artemide Storm Jacket | $182.66
BikeRadar verdict
"Well thought out and stylish waterproof for freeriding femmes"
The Artemide takes its cool looks and styling, along with many of its features, from Sombrio's popular men’s Vapor jacket. However, this is a women-specific jacket designed by freeriders, with the features to match.
The basics are nailed by a peaked hood, long arms and drop rear, which mean there’s plenty of coverage to hold off foul weather.
Add neat touches such as a lift pass pocket, magnetic front storm flap and waterproof zips and you have the ideal jacket for freeriding. It’s made from four-way stretch waterproof and breathable material designed to keep you dry and warm in the worst conditions.
The Artemide is mostly unlined, which means it can get clammy next to bare skin and a little warm when you’re pedalling intensely. Fortunately, Sombrio has included zipped mesh vents for added airflow. The fleece-lined pockets with reverse zips are great for warming your hands.
With a potent combination of style and function, the Artemide is great for use off the bike too.
