Sugoi Hotshot 2 | $82
BikeRadar verdict
"Versatile autumn warmer that’s light and small-packing"
Sugoi’s Hotshot 2 is a quality lightweight jersey that packs small, offering big warmth for little weight.
Sugoi cut the Hotshot from Finotherm – a high-tech polyester fleecy material – that’s stretchy to provide a comfortably close yet not sausage-like fit. It’s comfortable enough to wear on its own or with a base layer when the temperature drops.
This material has an increased surface area designed to boost sweat evaporation, and we found it did keep us noticeably drier.
On the rear are three handy pockets with the outer two angled for easy access, while the rubbery hem grip stops it riding up and causing chilly draughts. The front zip is small but easy to use without any snagging, and a zip garage prevents any chin irritation.
