For some riders, it has to be wool, and if that’s you then the classy Swobo is an excellent option. 

The super-fine merino fibre is soft and wicks moisture well. 

If you do overload it with sweat, it’ll get heavier than most synthetics, but temperature control via the half-length zip will help.
