The MT500 is packed full of features, with two rear pockets as well as one zipped pocket, a glasses wipe and a mix of performance fabrics.
The material through the body has a brushed inner surface that feels instantly warm but it also wicks well as soon as you start to work hard with under arm mesh venting helping too.
The sleeves are a more durable rip-stop nylon, which is good for packs because it extends over the shoulders – plus we appreciated the added wind resistance.
We also liked the cut on the sleeves – close on the forearms but with lots of shoulder room. We do wish the body was the same though.
There is grip tape at the hem to keep everything in place, but the boxy shape puts it at odds with the sleeker sleeve design.
