Slim-fit thermal top

This is the second iteration of the thermal long-sleeve Regulator jersey from Fox. We loved the original version and still regularly wear it on chilly rides, and this top has changed very little.

The jersey keeps its unusual brushed, dimpled finish, which serves to trap small pockets of air and form a thermal layer. The material also wicks sweat away from your skin – probably why it’s called Regulator.

It’s designed in traditional cycling style, with long sleeves and body to keep chills at bay, a stand-up collar, full front zip and twin rear pockets with zip closure.

We’ve had our previous Regulator in play for nearly three years, with plenty of use both on and off the bike. Even after well over 100 wash cycles the old one looks much like new with no stretching, shrinking or pilling to speak of. The new Regulator is a little more closely cut on the arms but actually that only makes it a better mid-layer fit.
