Fox Racing Strafer Jersey review£30.00

Fox Racing kit has always been sought after, and the latest stuff off the production line is some of its best yet. The Strafer range is aimed at downhillers and freeriders who get down to a serious amount of riding and expect both their bikes and kit to stand up to it.

The jersey is a simple number made from wicking, breathable polyester that's loosely cut so you can use it with or without body armour. For a short-sleeved jersey the sleeves are quite long, but these feel just right when you're in a riding position. The rear also features a drop tail that's fairly long. Most riding jerseys have V-necks but the Strafer jersey features a wider, open neck with a soft Lycra material across the front, which looks tidy and feels nice against the skin.

This jersey looks good and feels great to ride in, and is a fair price. Despite what the resident female might say when you come home plastered in the brown stuff, it's also easy to wash and it stays in good shape afterwards.
