"Great protection and ideal for all-round trail use"

This shoe isn’t easy to find in the UK thanks to limited distribution, but it’s well worth searching out. The All Mountain mixes protection and comfort but in the demi-boot shape pioneered by the Specialized Trail 110.

The futuristic looking Ergologic upper is made from sturdy manmade leather with seriously tough plastic protection in the toe and heel areas. It’s not for show either, as we’ve belted rocks clean across the trail using the toecap of the All Mountain with no lasting ill effects to foot or shoe.

The fit is as good as any triple Velcro strap shoe thanks to a really well-cut upper that’s tough and rugged. It’s not as stiff as a race offering, but that’s fine for this sort of shoe. The high ankle guard protects against bashes from the cranks and makes this an ideal shoe for those with bony or weak ankles.

A perfect shoe for year-round trail attacks.
