Scott Comp Ladies Shoes | $89.99
BikeRadar verdict
"Good fit, good comfort and little flex from these light shoes."
These stiff and light women's-specific shoes offer superb power transfer and comfy fit, though the tongue isn't comfortable as some.
The Comps are built around a women’s foot, meaning they’re narrower than men’s shoes with a lower instep, in keeping with the shape of the average woman’s foot.
There are no problems with flex from the rigid midsole, but while the outer lugs provide grip off the bike, they’re not as deep as some.
Velcro straps make it easy to get in and out of the Comps while keeping them securely in place.
Add to this plenty of padding and a deep heel cup for a comfy fit that also stops the shoe slipping.
Our only minor complaint was the bottom of the tongue on the inside – while not really a problem, it’s not as comfortable as the other women’s shoes.
Airflow on the other hand was great, and there’s plenty of toe protection.
