DHB M1
BikeRadar verdict
"A great little number that offers solid performance at a great price."
At this price, the M1s punch well above their weight. They look like racing shoes and perform perfectly well in that role; their stiff reinforced nylon soles delivers the power superbly. They are still forgiving enough for those moments when you have to dismount.
They're not as aesthetically gifted as some, but they're good, lightweight budget shoes.
The nylon mesh panels allow for good breathability and dry out quickly when they get wet. Three Velcro straps cover the lightweight manmade uppers and hold them very securely to your feet.
Inside you’ll find that a thin stretchy neoprene tongue keeps your feet comfortable, while a hardier outer tongue takes care of all the protection duties. Padded heels and ankles finishes off a comfy fit for these great-value racers that look and perform likes shoes with a much higher price tag.

Not had them long but very comfortable on a long ride. Very well ventilated so well suited to a warmer rides, not so good when it’s cold but you get allot for your money.

Do they have a recessed shoeplate attachment so that they're easy to walk in with SPD cleats?

very comfortable shoes, with a stiff sole,
was really impressed for the price,
however the soles have started to come away from the upper,
on both shoes!
so a bit questionable in terms of durability,
saying that i have i have used the day in day out for a month whilst touring so they have had a hard short life,
will be sending em back to wiggle to see what they say,
otherwise araldite here i come!

Owned since April, have been excellent, but are now falling apart. They've been used a lot over the last 9 months, but the plastic coating is now coming away from the fabric.

These are my first ad only pair of spd shoes and have been faultless from day 1. I use them for both road use and on my MTB and they perform well regardless.
They are fairly lightweight, look good and are easy to use, no complaints at all a very good value shoe.
