Refined flat pedal footwear

We make no excuses for featuring regular reviews of FiveTen shoes: they're some of the best for flat pedal riding.

The 2010 Freerider is more versatile than the Sam Hill model we reviewed last month. The thinner, more flexible mid-sole gives great feedback and a lighter build. Stealth Rubber is present in the Phantom sole.

The grip is fantastic, but you can move your foot on the pedal when pressure is removed. However, the sole may still be too grippy for some dirt jumpers, and there’s not quite enough protection for full-on downhill riding.
