Our review
Slightly pricier than the Impact shoes, but slightly fresher too

>Collaborating with Five Ten, Marzocchi have come up with a flat pedal-specific riding shoe, and it looks a bit fresher than the sea of black out there.

Together with Five Ten's Stealth Rubber sole, Marzocchi have specced a Dura Skin 1.8mm action leather upper, which keeps the worst of the weather off, cleans up easily and is durable. Like the latest Five Ten Impact 2 shoes, the Marzocchi's sturdy leather upper is more supportive than the original Five Ten shoes - the only difference in feel is that the Impact has a wrap-around tongue.

The Bomber has a conventional tongue with a gusset - which we found slightly comfier - and it makes the shoe feel more like a trainer. Our only niggle is that the tubular nylon laces tend to come undone unless you double knot them, but we put regular laces in our pair and have been living in them ever since.
