Specialized BG Pro Carbon Road Shoe review

Full FACT carbon sole and an adjustable buckle places the Pro Carbon Road Shoe at the higher end. It is also one of the most comfortable road shoes available and can be upgraded with an adjustable foot bed for that perfect fit.

The most comfortable high-end road shoes just got better

Specialized make a lot of their Body Geometry concept across their accessory range and the shoes have undergone considerable development to great acclaim.

The BG Pro Carbon Road Shoe tops the Specialized road range and over the past years has proven to be one of the most universally comfortable shoes on test. The biggest tweak this year is a redesigned ratchet.

The new X-Link system allows the four-way adjustment of the red strap pad to locate over the top of the foot for maximum security and comfort. A curved ankle cup also keeps the foot in place without any discomfort. The full carbon FACT sole is unchanged from previous models and is just as light and stiff. The wide design and high toe box combined with custom BG footbeds make this one of the most comfy high performance shoes on test.
