Sombrio shorts are fast gaining a reputation for having a cool-looking, hard-riding style, and before they're even on, the North Shore breeding of the Badass shorts is apparent.
Made from a durable but soft nylon with a printed, wicking mesh lining (but no liner) they feel great and ride like much lighter shorts. There's tons of cool styling detail going on, such as the metal rivets around the waistband and pockets; and the quilted panel, but we could have
done with a belt to go through the loops because the shorts are generously sized - and there's no built-in adjustment. At 15in long, these are great shorts for tall guys and good-looking enough to wear off the bike.
