"Great multi-discipline shorts for ripping it up in comfort"

The Syncline shorts blend the characteristics of freeride shorts with all the comfort of a great trail short. They’re intended for freeride, but they work far too well to be ignored for trail/cross-country duties.

The cut is roomy without being overly baggy, with a good length leg that sits just over the knee –perfect for pedalling and fitting a pair of pads underneath.

The material is durable, water resistant and will take abuse. They’re not stiff like a lot of freeride shorts and retain a softness that makes them really good off the bike as a casual short. So comfy we can’t take them off!

They don’t come with a separate padded liner but have a moisture wicking polyester liner that does an excellent job of wicking away sweat. It’s almost silky to the touch.

Zippered pockets up front keep loose change and keys safe, leg vents cool things down and belt loops add to the casual styling. These shorts should definitely be part of your riding kit if you love to ride hard and long, and look good.

    I am constantly amazed at the price of MTB specific clothing. I can understand that products have certain aspects of design to assist with certain sporting discipline requirements but £65 for a pair of shorts is ridiculous.

    I just picked up two pairs of North Face Paramount convertible trousers from Blacks in the sale for £18, they were worth £9 a pair but not the £59.99 rrp, great for riding in and then turn into trousers for the pub at the end of the day.
