Adidas Bib Short Elastic Power review

Very different from the Nike shorts, these high-end bibs from Adidas feel heavy duty and purposeful. And the thickness and density of the chamois combined with the stretch and bonded construction does a fine job.

An excellent chamois and thicker Lycra extend the season on these heavyweight high-enders

Very different from the Nike shorts, these high-end bibs from Adidas feel heavy duty and purposeful. And the thickness and density of the chamois combined with the stretch and bonded construction does a fine job of numbing any road buzz that makes it through to the saddle.

The springy Polyester/Elastane fabric mix feels very strong and offers a lot of protection from the harsher elements. However, it's hard to tell what they'd be like in the baking heat. Saying that, the open mesh design of the bib will certainly go a long way to reducing the overheating of the body.

In the style stakes, the contoured panels are flat-stitched and with the trademark Adidas three stripes running the length of the legs, they certainly stand out and give the feeling of riding for T-Mobile. They're not available as a short option.
