These 3/4-length tights are good year-round, except on sub-zero days, and are best when it’s just a little chilly for bare knees.
They’re made using a six-panel construction with flat seams. The Coolmax pad is comfortable to sit on, though understandably less supple and body-hugging than the forget-they’re-there pads found in dearer legwear.
Bib longs would be a bit more comfortable; these are better for pit stops, while still being high enough to keep out draughts. They’re machine washable too.
