The knees are double thickness, adding warmth to your hard-working joints, while the extensive bib section does a similar job up top. The synthetic seat pad is basic and fairly bulky but comfortable enough, while the ankle zips are particularly useful if the sun comes out and you feel the need to strip down to your shorts mid-ride.
Our only real gripe is that the lack of ankle grippers meant we found the legs tended to ride up as we pedalled.
