Craft may not be an instantly recognisable brand to most on these shores, but are well respected on the continent for their pro-level race wear. The Pro Dri is very thin, yet also warm with a high wicker. Intended to be worn under an insulating mid-layer, the fit is stretchy but not completely body hugging; there's extra to go round if you've got a few extra pounds, but brawny riders found the flat-stitched pit seams a bit tight under the arms. The vertically piped fabric stretches across the body, but not in the vertical direction, meaning you do get a few extra creases, but it's so thin you hardly notice it. The wicking property is excellent and even recommended by Gore-Tex for its moisture-moving performance. A natural touch next to the skin and the taller collar adds a bit of comforting warmth. You can also boil out any smells as the top will withstand a wash up to 95°C! Great value at £22.
